Qiwkle Shavri (Thomas) Arnette

MRS. QIWKLE SHAVRI THOMAS ARNETTE, 39 of CHARLOTTE, NC formerly of MOUNT GILEAD, NC passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Carolinas HealthCare System-University in Charlotte, NC.

Funeral Services will be held 4:00 pm Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the Thomasville Missionary Baptist Church, 233 Thomasville Church Rd., Mount Gilead, NC. Visitation will be held 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm prior to the service at tha church.  Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

A public viewing will be held 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday, November 23, 2018 at  Harris Funeral Home  & Cremations of Mount Gilead, NC.

Qiwkle, a daughter of Annie Thomas Baldwin and Mickey M. Owens, was born on Saturday, September 29, 1979 in Montgomery County, NC.  She exchanged time for eternity on Sunday, November 18, 2018, in the Carolinas Healthcare Systems University, Charlotte, NC.

Qiwkle accepted Jesus Chrisr as her savior and loved the Lord with all her heart.  She was a 1997 graduate of West Montgomery High School, Mt. Gilead, NC.  She furthered her education at Barbazon Modeling School, Charlotte, and Montgomery Community College, where she received her diploma in Practical Nurse Education.  She was employed with Huntersville Oaks, Huntersville, NC as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 18 years.

She was united in holy matrimony to Marcus Arnette and to this union, two beautiful girls were born, Arianna and Isabella.

She was a beautiful wife, mother, sister and friend.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Reed and Annie Frank Thomas, Bobby and Wilma Owens, uncle Joe Murrill Thomas and two brothers-in-law, Franklin and Michael.

Those left to cherish her memories are her loving husband, Marcus and her daughters, Arianna and Isabella; her parents, Annie Baldwin (Bently Sr.) of Pinehurst and Mickey Owens of New London, NC; two brothers, Bently Baldwin, Jr., of Pinehurst, NC and Michael T. Owens of Florida; father and mother-in-law, Frank and Helen Arnette; sisters-in-law, Lisa Murphy and Peggy Jones (Bob); brothers-in-law, Timothy and Johnny (Wendy); God daughter, Jaden Baldwin of Mt. Gilead, NC; god sister, Amanda Norris of Sanford, NC; a special aunt, Chucky Leake of Mt. Gilead, NC; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
