Quwana Denise Cunningham

MISS QUWANA DENISE CUNNINGHAM, 35 of MONROE, NC passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at her home.

A Graveside Service will be held 10:00 am Sunday, June 14, 2020 at the Watts Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (Oxner Cemetery) 3501 Rocky River Rd., North, Monroe, NC. (Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic we ask that everyone attending the service please wear a Mask / Face Covering and when you are entering the Chapel for the Public Viewing  use the Hand Sanitizing Station when entering and exiting the Chapel thank you).

A Public Viewing will be held 2:00pm to 6:00 pm Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremations of Monroe, NC.

Quwana Denise Cunningham, the daughter of  Wanda Cunningham (Henry) and James Barrett III ( Frog), all of Monroe, NC, was born on Friday, July 6, 1984, in Union County, North Carolina.

Quwana worked at Pilgrims Pride for several years and will be truly missed.  She was a 2002 graduate of Monroe High School.

Preceding her in death was her only son, Anterion Allen; her grandmothers, great-grandmothers, grandfathers, great-grandfathers, great-aunts and cousins.

Quwana was her parents only child.

Left to cherish her memories, her only child, Nykia Blackmon of the home in Monroe, NC; her parents,, Wanda Cunningham (Henry) and James Barrett III (Frog) , all of Monroe, NC; maternal grandmther, Lutricia Cunningham of Monroe, NC; and a host of other relatived and dear friends.
