Rachel (Polk) Clyburn

MRS. RACHEL POLK CLYBURN, 59 of POLKTON, NC passed away Tuesday, July 19 2022 at Atrium Health / Anson in Wadesboro, NC.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, July 24, 2022 at the Harris Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Monroe, NC with Interment to follow in the Williams Cemetery in Polkton, NC.

Rachel was born Saturday, August 18, 1962 in  Anson County, NC  a daughter of the late Kellis and Ida Hall Polk.  She was educated in the public schools of Anson County, NC and confessed her life to Christ and attended church regularly.  She was a homemaker in her very own home and loved her family dearly.

Rachel was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, two brothers and one sister.

She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to her husband; Willie Leon Clyburn of the home, one son; John Polk of Polkton, NC, three grandchildren; Felicia Chapman, Melisha Tanner and La Harmony Polk and one great-grandson; Mason Funderburk, three sisters; Katherine Ross (Wayne), Jennie Borden (Julius) both of Polkton, NC and Helen Hinson of Wadesboro, NC, one brother; Kellis Polk of Polkton, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends,
