Ralph Evans Bradshaw

MR. RALPH EVANS BRADSHAW, 79 of INDIAN TRAIL, NC died Saturday, October 18, 2014 at his home. Funeral Services will be held 6pm Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Thompson Chapel AME Zion Church, 6017 Highway 75, Mineral Springs, NC 28108, Visitation will be held 5pm to 6pm at the church prior to the service. Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Monroe, NC is in charge.  Services will be held also on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 1pm at the  Henryhand Funeral Home Chapel, 1951 Thurgood Marshall Blvd., Kingstree, SC 29556, Interment with military honors will follow in the Bradshaw Family Cemetery in Greeleyville, SC. A  Public viewing will be held 3pm to 8pm Friday, October 24, 2014 at the Funeral Home.

Ralph "Pops" was born Thursday, August 15, 1935 in Williamsburg County, SC a son of the late  Leroy Count Bradshaw and Adalaide Whack Bradshaw.  He was a US Army Veteran after being Honorably Discharged he then resided in Brooklyn, NY and Hollywood, FL before relocating to Indian Trail, NC in 2005 to live with his daughter Maria. Ralph loved to Fish, Rabbit Hunt , Squirrel Hunt and Deer Hunt.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two children he raised as his own and five brothers.

He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to his wife; Jean E. Bradshaw of Stone Creek, VA, two sons; Charles Bradshaw (Glenda) of Bronx, NY and Rory Bradshaw of Queens, NY, a daughter; Maria Simpson (lyncoya) of Indian Trail, NC, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, two sisters; Christine Parker of Pittsburg, PA and Mattie Canty of Greeleyville, SC, one brother; Dudley Bradshaw (Elaine) of Greeleyville, SC, one sister in law Ernestine Bradshaw and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
