MR. RAMEL FAIZON RORIE, 30 of WINGATE, NC passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020 at Atrium Health-Main in Charlotte, NC.

Funeral Services and Interment will be Private on Sunday May 24, 2020.

There will be no Public Viewing.

Ramel Rorie was born on May 12, 1990, in Union County, North Carolina, to Victoria Barrett amd Austell Rorie.  He entered in eternal rest on Sunday, May 17, 2020, at CMC-Main, Charlotte, North Carolina.

Ramel graduated from Forest Hills High School Class of 2009.  After graduating, he attended A&T State University.  Ramel enjoyed singing, rapping, dancing and playing football.  He was all around the life of the party.

He was employed by Dorsey Entertainment and previously employed by CSX Railroad.

Ramel was preceded in death by his grandparents,  Alonzo and Cynthia Henderson of Monroe, NC and Michael Rorie; one brother, Demarus Rorie and one sister, Aushell Rorie, preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish loving memories to his three children; Kylan Polk,  Londyn Polk, both of Wingate, NC and Rocco Rorie of Fayetteville, NC; his loving mother, Victoria Barrett of Wingate, NC and his father, Austell Rorie of Monroe, NC; four brothers, Tyus Deese and Jaquez Deese, both of Wingate, NC, Desmond Rorie and Jahstell Rorie of Monroe, NC; three sisters, Autumn Deese of Wingate, NC; Helisha Barbour and Jadelyne Rorie, both of Monroe, NC; grandmother, Marlena Rorie;  two aunts, Sabrina Huntley (Cecil) of Monroe, NC and Colleen Jackson (Tony) of Georgia; five great-aunts, two great-uncles, four nieces and nephews, Kade, Kash, Ayleesa and Za'Neivah and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends,

Ramel's heart will always be bonded with his special cousins/brothers, Emmanuel Hammonds, Jamari Massey, Junea Perry, Mandy Barrett, Demar Bivens.  Special acknowledgement to Shamar Dorsey and Tracy Perry.  In the words of Ramel (Mellman) there will never be a Mell without the man, Gleee!!
