Roland Craig Stevens, 51 of Far Rockaway, NY formerly of Union County, NC died Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at St Johns Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, NY. Funeral Servcies will be held 11am Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Jackson Grove Independant Church, 5000 Old Church Rd., Lancaster, SC 29720 with burial to follow in the Eastside Cemetery in Waxhaw, NC

Craig was the son of Roland F. Stevens and the late Vernell Craig Stevens.  He was a graduate of Forest Hills High School in Forest Hills, NY and also attended Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD and was employed as a Hospital Communications Specialist.

He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter; Shanice Stevens of Charlotte, NC; father; Roland F. Stevens of Cascade, VA ; sister Linda S. Frazier of Columbia, MD two aunts. Marion Craig and Oleatha A. Amazigo both of Jamaica, NY and a host of  uncles, relatives and dear friends.

Family Visitation will be held Sunday, September 30, 2012, 10 am to 11 am at the Jackson Grove Independant Church in Lancaster, SC.  Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Monroe, NC is serving the Stevens Family.
