Roshard Deshann Drake

Mr. Roshard Deshann Drake, 35, of Mount Gilead, NC, died Friday, August 9, 2013, at his residence.  A Memorial Service will be held 6pm Monday, August 12, 2013 at Mountain Grove AME Zion Church, NC HWY. 73 West in Mount Gilead, NC.  Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Mount Gilead, NC.

Roshard was born in Montgomery County, North Carolina on June 11, 1978 to Amy Dumas  and Ricky Drake, Sr.  He was a 1996 graduate of West Montgomery High School, served in the United States Navy and was formerly employed with E-R Solutions in Telecommunications in Atlanta, Georgia.

He leaves to cherish loving and fond memories to his mother; Amy Dumas of Albemarle, NC and father Ricky Drake, Sr.; step-father, Kenneth Clark and step-mother, Renee Gulledge; son; Roshard Drake II of Mt. Gilead, NC and daughter, Chazzarian (Jazz) Drake of Mt. Gilead, NC; sister, Tenaya Brown; brother, Ricky Drake, Jr.; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Octavia Drake of Mt. Gilead, NC; aunts; Minnie Fee (Charles), of Greensboro, NC, Eunice Parker and Cecelia Nicholson, both of Mt. Gilead, NC, Bertha Moore of Pleasant Gardens, NC, Elaine Hinson of Troy, NC, Carolyn Robinson of Cleveland, Ohio, Lena Garrison of Greensboro, NC, Linda Hagin of East Brunswick, NJ, Helen Butler (Harold) of Fayetteville, NC, Martha Greene (Robert) and Vicky Drake, all of Mt.
