Sarah Jane (Robinson) Little

MRS. SARAH JANE ROBINSON LITTLE, 92 of MOUNT GILEAD, NC passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015.  Funeral Services will be held 2pm Monday, July 6, 2015 at West Montgomery High School Auditorium, 147 Warrior Rd., Mount Gilead, NC 27306, with Visitation 1:30pm to 2pm prior to the service at the Auditorium.  Interment to follow in the Snow Hill AME Zion Church Cemetery in Mount Gilead, NC.  A public viewing will be held 12 noon to 7pm Sunday, July 5, 2015 at  Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Mount Gilead, NC.

Sarah was born on Tuesday, October 17, 1922, in Richmond County ,NC, and departed this earthly life on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at her residence.

She was the daughter of the late Patsy Little and James Robinson. Her formal education was at Peabody Schools.

Sarah accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and became a member  of Snow Hill AME Zion Church and also attended Shiloh Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by 7 brothers and 2 sisters, and her husband, Walter Little.

Sarah leaves lasting memories to her children; four daughters, Ella B. Lilly and Olivia "Jackie" Thomas (Harvey), all of Mt. Gilead, NC, Carolyn Newsom and Dorsey Diane Pemberton, both of Cleveland, Ohio; three sons, Herbert Robinson (Ernestine) and William Little (Ann), all of Mt. Gilead, NC and James Little (Robin) of Albemarle, NC; special sister-in-law, Lucille Robinson; 26 grandchildren, 65 great I grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
