Scott Alexander Hammond

MR. SCOTT ALEXANDER HAMMOND, 39 of DURHAM, NC formerly of MONROE, NC passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015 in China Grove, NC result of an automobile accident. Funeral Services will be held Noon, Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 501 P.E. Bazemore Dr., Monroe, NC with Visitation to be held 11:30 am to Noon prior to the service at the church, Reverend Larry W. Leake, Pastor, Eulogist.  Interment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park in Monroe, NC. A public viewing will be held Noon to 7:00 pm Friday, October 23, 2015 at  Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe, NC.

Scott was born Sunday, January 11, 1976 in Monroe, NC a son of Edward Lee and Joyce Ann Huntley Hammond of Monroe,NC.

Survivors other than his parents are  two daughters; Natayla Hammond and Nia Hammond of the home and his Fiance' Natasha Artis of Durham, NC, one sister; Charmaine Hammond of Monroe, NC, one brother; Jason Hammond (Gina) of Charlotte, NC, Paternal Grandparents; James E. and Audrey F. Hammond of Chesapeake, VA and Clovish Blakeney Cauthen of San Antonio, TX, his neices and nephews, cousins and friends.
