Mr. Shaquille Dominquie Belk, 19 of Marshville, NC died Sunday, July 8, 2012 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Funeral Services will be held 4:30pm Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the Nicey Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 318 Camden Rd., Marshville, NC with burial to follow in the Westview Memorial Park in Wadesboro, NC.
Shaquille was Born February 17, 1993, he was a 2011 Graduate of Forest Hills High School and was employed with Food Lion of Marshville, NC. He was preceeded in death by his father Rodney Leon Belk, Sr., his brother Patrick McClendon and Great-grandparents; Florence and Hubert McClendon, Sr.
He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories, his mother; Carolyn McClendon Miller and step-father Ray Miller both of the home; two brothers, Ryant McClendon and Rodney Belk, Jr., both of Marshville, NC one step-brother, RayKwon Miller of Pageland, SC; one sister Jasmine Belk and one half sister, Raquel Belk both of Marshville, NC; grandparents Brenda McClendon and Ruth Belk both of Marshville, NC; aunts, Barbara Taylor (Maurice) of Fayetteville, NC, Doris McClendon Sturdivant (Billy) of Wadesboro, NC, Chris Hamilton (Terrell) of Marshville, NC, Margaret Chambers, Tommie Clyburn (R.S.), Debbie McClendon, Sharon Barrino (Glendell) and Phyllis Chambers and Trina Bittle (Kenneth) all of Marshville, NC, Beverly Chambers of Mt. Croghan, SC and Tammy Belk of Charlotte, NC; uncles; Carroll McClendon (Deloris), Billy Reese McClendon, Larry McClendon all of Marshville, NC , Joey McClendon (Cynthia) of Monroe, NC and Gary Belk of Marshville, NC four neices K'mari Walker, Kenya Little, Malaya McClendon and Baby Jade; six nephews; K'Lique Walker, Ayden Belk, Shamir Horne, Angel Trcious, Kyan Clyburn and Patrick McCanty and a host of Cousins, relatives and friends.
Through Shaquille's tragic death, others will blessed with his organs to live on! Shaquille was an organ donor.
Public viewing will be held 2pm to 7pm Friday, July 13, 2012 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe
