MISS SHARLINE McRAE, 50 of MOUNT GILEAD, NC died Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle, NC.  Funeral Services will be held 1pm Friday, February 13, 2015 at Leah R. Levin Memorial Auditorium, 102 School St., Mount Gilead, NC 27306 with Interment to follow in the St. Stephen AME Church Cemetery in Mount Gilead, NC.  A public viewing will be held 12:00pm to 7:00pm Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Mount Gilead, NC.

Sharline, "Puss", as she was called by everyone, was born in Montgomery County, Troy, NC, to James Edward Dumas and the late Alline Leake McRae, on July 16, 1964.

She was a member of St. Stephen A.M.E. Church.  She was a loving and caring mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Alline Leake McRae, 2 brothers, Charles Andy McRae and Ronald Dumas; sister, Shelia Graham McRae and 5 aunts, Elnora Harris, Dalphine Mangrum, Doris Mangrum, Nannie Leake, Margie Leake and 3 uncles. Charles Leake, Howard Leake and Jimmy Leake.

She leaves to cherish loving and fond memories to her children, 3 sons, Shakei McRae of Albemarle, NC, Jamuel Ewing of Mount Gilead, NC and Jawauna Ewing of the home; daughter, Shakira Ewing of Troy, NC; her father, James Edward Dumas of Mount Gilead, NC; 3 sisters, Regina McRae, Stephanie Dumas, both of Mount Gilead, NC and Carolyn Dumas of Quincy, Mass.; 2 brothers, Reginald Dumas of Hyde Park, Mass., and Glenn Dumas of Philadelphia, PA; one granddaughter, Shy'kireuna Ji Quajah Ewing; 1 aunts, Julia Leake and Sylvia Leake, both of Mount Gilead, NC; 2 special friends, Jamie Ewing and Lisa Cheek, both of Mount Gilead, NC; god-daughter, Mickey Hardy of Troy, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends of the Pee Dee Community.
