Shelton Glover Hopkins

MR. SHELTON GLOVER HOPKINS, 74 of WINSTON SALEM, NC formerly of MONROE, NC passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015 at his home.  A private memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015, at the Harris Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Monroe, NC.

Born Friday, August 1, 1941 in Monroe, NC, he was the second oldest son of the late  Deacon Willie and Marion Lomax Hopkins. He was also preceded in death by two brothers John Hopkins and Ernest Hopkins.

He leaves to cherish loving and precious memories to three sisters; Willie Marie Hopkins of Washington, DC, Marion Hopkins-Tucker (Morris) of Ft. Pierce, FL and Dr. Brenda Hopkins of Monroe, NC; two brothers; Otis Hopkins (Gwen) of Lantana, TX and Jacob Hopkins (Jene) of Rural Hall, NC, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
