Shelton Jaron Sturdivant, 19 of Charlotte, NC died Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.  Funeral Servcies will be held 3pm Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Piney Grove East Missionary Baptist Church, 1708 Ansonville Rd., Marshville, NC 28103  with Visitation 2:30pm to 3pm at the church prior to the service.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe, NC.

Survivors include one daughter Samiyah Nicole Sturdivant of Charlotte, NC; mother Gwendolyn R. Sturdivant of Charlotte, NC; Father; Ronald Bivens of Charlotte, NC, sister; Talara S. Mason (Michael) of Charlotte, NC  and a brother Jeremy Covington of Monroe, NC; Maternal Grandmother; Darlene Sturdivant Elam and Step-Grandfather, Frank Elam both of Passaic, NJ and Paternal Grandfather Albert Bivens and a devoted friend Rashita Hastings a host of Aunts, Uncles relatives and other dear friends.
