Stephanie Evon (Martin) Green

MRS. STEPHANIE EVON MARTIN GREEN, 46 of MOUNT GILEAD, NC (Wadeville Community) died Friday, May 9, 2014 at Firsthealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst, North Carolina.

Funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Wadeville A.M.E. Zion Church, of which she attended, with Reverend Martha Greene, pastor, eulogist.  Burial will be in Bruton Cemetery, Wadeville Community, Mount Gilead, North Carolina.

She was born on February 15, 1968, to Mrs. Shirley Legrand Martin and the late Garfield Martin, Sr., in Montgomery County, North Carolina.  She attended the public schools of Montgomery County, and attended, West Montgomery High School., Mount Gilead, NC.

She was preceded in death by her father Garfield Martin, Sr., a daughter, Tina  Marie Green and a son, Joshua Green and her grandparents.

She leaves to cherish loving and fond memories are her children; Alonzo Martin of Biscoe, NC, Whitney Shaw of Eagle Springs, NC, Charmonie Green and Diamond Green, both of Wadeville, NC; her mother, Shirley L. Martin of Wadeville, NC; brother; Garfield Martin, Jr., of Eagle Springs, NC; sisters; Mary Jane Martin Jones (Freddie) and Betty Martin, both of Mount Gilead, NC and Rose Martin of Pekin, NC; 7 grandchildren; a special friend, Wilbert Lee Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and dear friends,

Public viewing will be on friday, May 16, 2014  at Harris Funeral Home, Mount Gilead NC from 11am until 7 p.m..  Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, is serving the Green and Martin Families.
