MISS TABATHA DENISE STATON, 42 of MONROE, NC passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017 in Charlotte, NC.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the Monroe High School Auditorium, 1 High School Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Monroe, NC.

A public viewing will be held 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday, August 11, 2017 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe, NC.

Tab, as she was fondly called,  was born on Sunday,  September 29, 1974 in Union County, NC, to Johnny and Johnnie Mae Cunningham Staton.

Tab was  fully dedicated to her job at United Rentals for 5 years. Later, she ventured out to seek new employment with Driven Brand.  She was full of life, laughter, and never met a stranger.  She a woman of many talents, from decorator to hair dresser.

Tabatha leaves to cherish loving and fond memories to her parents, Johnny and Johnnie Mae Cunningham Staton of Monroe, NC; two sisters, Donna Hughey (DJ) of Charlotte, NC and Machelle Ivey (Ricky) of Monroe, NC; brother, Antonio Staton of Charlotte, NC; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
