MISS TINA YVONNE MARSH, 39 of CHARLOTTE, NC, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Carolinas Healthcare System-Pineville, Pineville, NC.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, May 26, 2017 at the Benton Heights Presbyterian Church, 2701 Concord Highway, Monroe, NC 28110.  Interment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC.

A public viewing will be held 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe, NC.

Ms. Tina " Butterfly " Yvonne Marsh, was born December 12 1977, to parents Wayne B. Marsh, Sr and Yvonne Meeks.   She quietly entered eternal rest on Saturday, May 20, 2017.

Tina accepted Jesus Christ at a very young age and graduated from Myers Park High School in Mecklenburg County, NC.

She was known as a great singer and as teenager she would sing at her uncle's Church, Union Bethel AME Zion Church.

Tina was employed by AIS (Advanced Image Systems) for many years, where her charming personality and warm smile won her many friends.

She leaves to cherish loving memories to her children,  two sons, Rodney Covington, Jr., Sadarius Covington and a daughter,  Taya  Covington; her parents Wayne B. Marsh, Sr.(Debra) and Yvonne Meeks ( Melvin); her devoted fiance', Timothy Baker; her grandparents, Verla Marsh and Charlie Bowman; two sisters, Latonya Bowman and Christina Burnette; four brothers, Wayne Marsh, Jr., Lamont Marsh, Bobby Marsh and Tyrone Leak; three nieces Tyanna Harris, Tanadia Bowman and Makiha Leak; six nephews,  Jaelon Bowman, Elijah Marsh, Devin Marsh, Ian Marsh, Jaden Marsh and Malachi Leak; one great nephew, Jasiah Norwood, and a host of other relatives and friends.
