MR. TOBIAS LEVAR CRUMP 42, of Mt. Gilead, NC, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Atrium-Northeast Medical Center, Concord, NC.
Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Snow Hill Cemetery, 204 Snow Hill Church Road, Mt. Gilead, NC.
Public viewing will be Saturday, August 14, 2021 from 2p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Harris Funeral Home Chapel.

Tobias Levar Crump, a son if Minister Rowena Crump Barber and Gilbert Lockhart, was born on Sunday, July 18, 1979 in Montgomery County, North Carolina. He departed this earthly life on Tuesday, Auagust 10, 2021, in the Atrium/Northeast Medical Center, Concord, NC.
Tobias , fondly called "Pa", attended the public schools of Anson County, NC. He was employed by J. T. Russell Construction Company in Albemarle, NC. At an early age, Tobias confessed Christ and joined Snow Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Mt. Gilead, NC.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Steve Barber; grandparents, Willie B. and Blanche Crump; aunt, Dorothy Davis; the Tyson, Pearson, Calloway, Crump and Lockhart Families. "Pa" will be sorely missed.
Those left to cherish his memories; his mother, Minister Rowena Crump Barber of the home; his father, Gilbert Lockhart (Linda) of Burlington, NC; daughter, Jasmine Blocker; his sisters, Lannika Chanell Crump of the home and Tamika Hodnett; brother, Steven Barber (Mary) of Albemarle, NC; nephews, Kiah Crump, Jacorey Crump, Markiel Crump, Jeremiah Crump, Jeremiah Barber and Jacob Barber; nieces, Makayla Davis, Jamya Barber and Aurbery Barber; great-niece, Meilani Drake; aunts, Nealie Christian (Lester), Georgia Crump of Mt. Gilead, NC and Victoria Crump (Clarence) of Norwood, NC; uncles, George Crump (Mary) and Maholly Crump (Genise); two great-aunts, Betty Jean Ledbetter of High Point, NC and Florence Calloway of New York; special friend, Tanga (Ma DuKe) Dunlap, sister, Kamala Dunlap; Marcus Dunlap and his Ansonville Family, his cousins and friends.
He loved his family and friends. He never met a stranger and was also called "Black", "Smiley" and """Crump".
