MISS TOMEKA EVETTE GREENE, 46 of MOUNT GILEAD , NC, passed away Monday June 5, 2017 at FirstHealth Montgomery Hospital, Troy, NC.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm  Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the Snow Hill AME Zion Church, 204 Snow Hill Church Road, Mount Gilead, NC 27306.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

A public veiwing will be held 12:00pm to 7:00pm Friday, June 9, 2017 at Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Mount Gilead, NC.

Tomeka was born on Tuesday, December 1, 1970 in Montgomery County, NC, to Johnny and Ermateen McAuley Greene.  She exchanged mortality for immortality on Monday, June 5, 2017.

She attended the public schools in Montgomery County and graduated from West Montgomery High School.

She was a devoted mother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend. She was a faithful member of Calvary Victory Ministries in Troy, NC, where she was a member of the choir and served in other capacities in the Church.   She will be dearly missed as she often called family and friends to check on them and to sayv" I love you ".  She was predeceased by her husband, Clayton Cash.

Tomeka leaves cherished memories to her beloved son, Zachary Cash of the home; loving parents, Johnny and Ermateen Greene of Mt. Gilead, NC; three sisters, Reversed Klonette Everhart (Tracy) of Mt. Gilead, NC, Amanda Welch of Upper Marlboro, Maryland and Cynthia T. King (Kevin) of Mt. Gilead, NC; one brother,  Mickey Turner (Audrey) of Atlanta, Georgia;  aunts, Lucille Rudisell, Brenda Gaines (Harold), Willie Antine McBroom, Evangelist Lynette Collins (Lee), Mattie LeGrand (David Wayne), all of Mt. Gilead, NC, and Kay McLaurin of Badin, NC; one uncle, Charles McAuley (Alma) of Charlotte, NC; special friends, Perry Flowers Patricia and Crystal Collins, the Jackson Family, godmother, Jenett Armstrong Blake of Norman, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
