MR. TYSON BRADLEY, JR. 73,  of MT. GILEAD, NC , passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the Thomasville Missionary Baptist Church, 233 Thomasville Church Rd., MT. Gilead, NC.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

(Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic everyone attending the Service and Public Viewing are required to wear a mask or facial covering.  Also please use the Hand Sanitizing Station when entering and exiting the Funeral Home.)

A public viewing will be held 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Friday, December 3, 2021 at Harris Funeral Home and Cremations of MT. Gilead, NC which is serving the Bradley, Barringer and extended families.

Tyson Bradley, Jr ., was born on January 28, 1948 in Montgomery County, North Carolina.  He was the eldest son of the late Tyson Bradley Sr., and Lady Barringer Bradley.  He will be remembered for his kindness and generosity. Tyson was a kindhearted person.

Tyson Bradley Jr . attended the Montgomery County Public Schools.  He was a single man of God.  He loved children although he had none of his own and he was close to his nieces and nephews. Tyson at a young age became employed with Safrit Lumber Company, now known as Jordan Lumber Company today.  He later became employed with Jacob Creek Stone Company in Denton, NC for 39 years before he retired.

Tys Jr. , as he was called by family and friends, confessed Christ at an early age and joined Thomasville Missionary Baptist Church, where he served over 20 years faithfully as an Usher under the leadership of several pastors, Rev. Louis Blakney, Rev. Henry Lee and Rev. Bobby McRae, just to name a few.  He loved his church family.

In his leisure, he loved to watch tv, cowboy movies and the Andy Griffith Show.  He was a caring and devoted brother and uncle, a trusted friend and saw good in everyone.  He will be missed but his memory will be forever cherished.

Tyson was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Walter Bradley an Bobby Bradley recently; sister, Dorothy Bradley; brother-in-law, Clifton Brooks and a nephew, Christopher Bradley.

Those left to cherish his memories; his siblings, James Bradley of Mt. Gilead, NC, Shirley A. Brooks of Albemarle, NC, Betty Dunlap (Bobby) of Norwood, NC, Jimmy Bradley (Tammy) of Fayetteville, NC, Wendy Davis (Houston) of Mt. Gilead, NC, Peggy Byrd (Thomas) of Matthews, NC, Curtis Bradley (Perlita) of Fayetteville, NC, Derrick Bowden of Lancaster, SC and Joseph Bowden of Kannapolis, NC; 4 sisters-in-law, 3 brothers-in-law; one uncle, Curtis Barringer of Sharon Hill, PA; special friend, Denise Bruton, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
