Mr. William Walter "Bill" Brooks, was born on Thursday, February 1, 1940, to the late Walter Henry and Mamie Brooks. He exchanged time for eternity on Saturday, October 30, 2021.
William Walter Brooks was a big man in stature with a heart even bigger. William was a diligent provider and care giver especially to his mother whom he treasured and adored and would go to the end of the earth for.
William was a great son, father, husband, grandfather, and uncle anyone could ask for or imagine. William was an avid outdoorsman as he loved fishing, hunting and just being a big old country boy at heart. He loved coaching softball and just fraternizing with others in general..
William Walter Brooks is one of the greatest men I've ever known and he will be missed but never forgotten.
Bill married Dorothy Scott Brooks on October 15, 1988. She preceded him in death September 18, 2021. Also preceding him in death were sisters, Betty Jean Mills, Ollie Tanner and Yvonne Hood.
