MR. WILLIAM HENRY GLOVER, 81 of INDIAN TRAIL, NC passed away Friday, March 19, 2021 at his home.

Graveside Services will be held 1:00 pm Friday, March 26, 2021 at Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC.

(Due to COVID 19 Pandemic everyone attending are required to wear a mask or facial covering. Also please use the Hand Sanitizing Station when entering and exiting the Funeral Home.)

Mr. William Henry Glover, (aka Sonny or Glover) the son of the late Joseph and Junell Glover, was born on Tuesday, February 20, 1940 in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

Glover grew up in Orangeburg, South Carolina, the seventh of ten children and moved to Plainfield, New Jersey at an early age.  Plainfield is where he met the love of his life Fannie (nee Covington) Glover of Monroe, NC.  They were married February 15, 1961.  Glover and Fannie had three children, Darryl, Mark (Theresa) and Shonn.  After retiring from Coach USA as a tour bus driver, he moved with his beautiful wife to her hometown of Monroe, NC, where they were faithful members of Mt. Olive AME Zion Church, where Glover was a Steward and sang in the choir.

Preceding Glover in death were his parents, grandparents and four siblings.

He leaves to cherish loving and fond memories, his wife of 60 years, Fannie; his sons, Darryl, Mark (Theresa) and a daughter, Shonn; six grandchilldren; Chareece, Kameron, Ebony (Max), Darryl Jr. (Rwanda), Jade, Mark Jr; five great-grandchildren, Brandon, Zoe, Nahla, Lola and Jasaiah; siblings, Lela Cleckley,  Elizabeth Glover, Junell Grant Williamson, Joseph Glover, Jr. (Dorothy), Bernice Olive (Rayvon); brothers-in-law, George Covington (Roberta), Jerry Covington (Patricia) and Garry and Larry Covington (Vivian); sisters-in-law; Dorothy Alderman, Ernestine Covington, Barbara White (Waymon) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
