Mr. Willie Mack Wright, 67 of Monroe, NC died Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at his home.  Funeral Services will be held 1pm Saturday, October 12, 2013 at  Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church, 503 Maurice St., Monroe, NC 28112, Interment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park in Monroe, NC.  Public viewing will be held 11:00am to 7:00pm Friday, October 11, 2013 at Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe, NC.

Willie Mack was born Thursday, August 15, 1946 in Chester, SC a son of the late John and Ethel Kennedy Wright.

He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to his wife Hettie Byrd Wright; one son; Steve Byrd; one daughter Anita Byrd; three brothers Charles Wright, (Gloria), George Wright, (Barbara) all of Monroe, NC and Glenn Wright of Lancaster, SC; four sisters; Shirley Sanders of Atlanta, Ga, Annie Marshall of Norfolk, VA, Ethel Wright of Charlotte, NC and Rose Wight of Monroe, NC; three brothers in law Danny Byrd,James Byrd, (Maggie) and Willie Byrd, (Drucilla) two sisters in laws; Jessie Byrd of Los Angeles, CA and Mildred Howard of Monroe, NC adopted Grandson, Chris Myers and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and dear friends.
