Wilson Tyson

MR. WILSON TYSON, 74 of MARSHVILLE, NC ​passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Novant Health / Matthews Medical Center in Matthews, NC.

A Memorial Service in his honor will be held 3:00 pm Friday, December 22, 2017 at Harris Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Monroe, NC.

Harris Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Monroe, NC is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Wilson Tyson was born on Good Friday, April 4, 1947, to the late Jake Randolph Tyson and Brennie Loretta Evans Tyson, in Union County, North Carolina.

As a husband and a father, he spent the majority of his life in the home in Marshville with his wife. In March 2015, illness struck his body causing him to spend the last two and a half years in various  facilities with his daughter by his side.

In addition to his parents, Biffie was preceded in death by his wife Delane; three brothers, Jake, Jr,, Hazel and Rubin; three sisters, Lorraine, Williemae and Doretha.

He leaves to cherish loving memories to his daughter,Themerace Tyson; four sisters, Magallene Horton, Willene Strain, Eva Tyson and Lorine Cubbards(Jerry); two brothers, Vinson Tyson (Brenda) and Leo Blakeney; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
